MusiGo Founder, Keri-Ellen Walcer has been dancing since she was a preschooler. The youngest of six children, her siblings remember afternoons of dancing around the livingroom to Boney M while six month old Keri-Ellen bounced and swayed using the sides of her playpen to support her wobbly frame. She began taking formal dance lessons at the age of four and continued to study dance, kinesiology and fitness throughout her years in university while acting as the children's summer art program director at the Visual Arts Centre of Clarington.

Upon earning a bachelor's degree in Community Health in 2001, Walcer was inspired by her own bouncing baby girl and formed Twinkle Toes Dance Centre, specializing in programs for children six months to five years. Drawing from her years of dance and fitness training she choreographed movement classes that would not only build her young students skills but would keep them actively engaged through the entire class time. These classes became known as Wee Wigglers.

Wee Wigglers was infectious and soon other fitness and dance professionals joined Keri-Ellen in offering this unique musical fitness experience to their young clients. Wee Wigglers, is now part of a larger brand called MusiGo established in April of 2007. With licensed locations across Canada, MusiGo Inc. is on the leading edge of children's fitness programming.

Today Keri-Ellen continues to promote children's fitness and the development of quality programming. She has presented workshops through OPHEA, business development centres, schools and libraries.

As Sinking Ship Entertainment's children's fitness consultant for "Roll Play" the hit pre-school fitness series on Treehouse Television, she developed, choreographed and hosted the live experience. "Be On Roll Play" will air as a special production on Treehouse TV in 2010. In May 2009 she was invited as a special guest on TVO's "The Ocean Room" which also features MusiGo's original song "Rhythm of the Shore". MusiGo's Wee Wigglers children's fitness programming has been developed with the same energy and expertise that has become Keri-Ellen's personal trademark. Nationwide, these programs are being implemented by moms, daycare providers, elementary teachers, fitness professionals, dance teachers and others who care about the health and well being of children in their communities.

"Back when I was in school, childhood obesity was a rare occurance. Today one in four children in Canada are either overweight or obese. Studies show that the best way to inspire our children to have healthy habits is by getting active with them. It is never too early to help our children on the path of active living. I think that the most important thing about these programs is that they will inspire children and families to move and experience all the wonderful things that their bodies can do." - Keri-Ellen Walcer
